2:

Title: Corporate Controller-Chicago, Ill Direct the treasury, financial reporting and budgeting functions of the Company. Manage the consolidation and preparation of all monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports. Coordinate the monthly, quarterly and annual closing of the books. Coordinate the annual budgeting process and analyze/make recommendations to achieve the Company’s financial objectives. Oversee accounts payable and general accounting functions. Manage the Company’s banking relationships in accordance with established guidelines and ensure that the Company’s debt obligations are within covenants. Perform financial analysis relating to sales and marketing and the feasibility of various programs and promotions. Perform financial analysis in a variety of areas including expense control, asset utilization, inventory management and financing arrangements. Track, monitor and ensure proper recording of all physical assets. Responsible for the timely filing of all corporate taxes and related government filings and reporting. Supervise Mgr., Accounting, and (2) Financial Analysts. Bachelors degree in finance or accounting. MBA preferred. 8-10 years experience with public accounting exposure. Tax filing and banking relationship experience a must. Relocation not provided.

Title: Plant Accountant - Chicago, Illinois International manufacturing, sales, distribution organization with multiple US locations. Headquartered in Chicago. This position will report to the Director, Finance and will work closely with plant personnel to achieve financial goals and objectives in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Will be responsible for making journal entries including labor, freight, fringes, machine hours/production units, overhead absorption on finished goods as well as many others. The Plant Accountant will assist in the audit of bills of material and will be fully responsible for coordinating physical inventories and cycle counts. Will review facility P&L statements for accuracy and analyze variances as necessary and assist in the preparation of the annual budget and reforecasts. Perform cost projections for the sales and marketing team, ensure compliance with all corporate policies/procedures and develop/distribute key reports to the management team. Must have good analytical and communication skills and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have a four year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and 4-5 years experience. Must be proficient in JD Edwards, WorldWriter and Excel. Relocation not provided.
